Hi, just need a little help here. I have some Quart RCE216's, they are screwed onto the door panel of my car, (94 Geo prizm) so the panels are very flimsy. I want to achieve a better low end. So what i want to do is mount the speaker on a MDF board that will be screwed onto the door panel. Will this be enough to separate the front and back waves? I know technically a Infinite Baffle configuration should be "infinite", but by mounting this on my door panel, there will always be some leaks around the panel. Is this solid enough, or should i be looking for a way to mount this on the metal of my door?? Thanx in advance, all help is appreciated.
