Instead of having a kid smoke weed in front of the Walgreens, he smokes weed in his garage while installing mobile electronics equipment. I win because I don't have to smell it. I have a feeling any website you find regarding car audio and its effect on society is not going to be reliable and therefore you cannot cite it. Personally it has no effect on society except that stupid people piss off everyday citizens, but that happens in many different situations.

Well, look what it does to us...

We can argue adamantly for hours about silly things such as capacitors, which brand is better, which amp will give better sound, etc!

And on top of it we are cleanly divided by who knows it ands who doesn't.

There are noobs, semi-noobs, people who are fairly knowledgeable, then Guru like ultra car audio gods like Jack Frost, req and Squeek (to name a few...)

You could compare the car audio to the musclecar craze of the 60's, except instead of faster and flashier, we strive to be louder and clearer.
