Message: <blockquote data-quote="noob with an RS" data-source="post: 913051" data-attributes="member: 558925"><p>im thinking about going with an AudioControl EQ but not sure which one. i just realized that i might want to use an EQ to shape my components' frequencies to a nice sounding way AND AT THE SAME TIME flatten the hump in frequency response i get when going with a ported box for my 12" idMAX. i can audibly tell the difference when a certain note plays.. its LOUD and then when it hits a different note (same bass instrument), its not as loud. i think if i went with a sealed box i wouldnt have had this teeny tiny dislike about the sub response but oh well i have it now and i think an EQ will be ok to maybe cut away at the peak frequency??</p></blockquote><p></p>
