Man it just totally transforms my whole system. I want to try putting the tweeters next to the mids but holy cow I totally can't find the grill covers for my tweeters!! So I'm going to go ahead look for the surface mounts ( and actually angle it towards the seats).
ok wow. I just got back from Seaworld with my woman which is 1 hour and 28 minutes away (one way) so I had some seat time. Ok first thing I noticed was the sound in the mid range was wayyy more forward than I would have thought the new location would do. I havn't realized it but before it felt like the mid (on my side) was bouncing off my body to my ears. Sorta like in a compressed way the mid ranges sounded. Also, remember that shreaking harsh sound?!??!?!?! Hell yah I got like 80% rid of that (now it only happens when the vocals are really screaming but I think that it has to do with finding the right level for the mids). Man it just totally transforms my whole system. I want to try putting the tweeters next to the mids but holy cow I totally can't find the grill covers for my tweeters!! So I'm going to go ahead look for the surface mounts ( and actually angle it towards the seats). If that is missing I'll order from DLS if they can send that to me. **** now im hella excited to do full active heehee!
