[QUOTE="Brock, post: 2363124, member: 544716"] Well, like I said, its all relative to your audience. I've djed at clubs and played straight off my laptop before and had no problems. Actually, this thanksgiving I'll be dropping mp3's with q-burns abstract message (look him up hes sick) funk style...so theres really no need for actual vinyl...ill more than likely be on cdj's / laptop. I'm sure people will enjoy it just the same as people enjoy top-40 djs playing off of a playlist. I'm not trying to put anyone down, I'm all for people enjoying music any way they can or want to... I'm just more or less saying don't call yourself a hip hop dj if you've never chopped up a record, a drum and bass dj if you cant mix, or a trance dj if youre not gay. lol j/k Its all relative, and honestly, I don't care. If you have people shaking their *** on a dancefloor it doesn't matter where the sound is coming from. About djforums, 'eh...its allright. I used to do a radio show on a websation they had years ago. I think it was called getswerve radio or something silly like that. Id point you in the right direction for more info, but unfortunately I don't get on forums too much. I rarely check...
