Here is the deal I have a kicker mono amp 750.1 (80amps) in the car powering one 12" L7 if it matters. I will be adding a hifonics zues series 600(60amps)BTW this is an old hifonics amp not the new style). for my highs which will be a pair of image dynamics ctx 6.5 components (4ohm). That being said the hifonics amp will only be powering 150.2 since i will be running them at 4ohm. I spoke to a few people and i was told that it would be fine to do so with one strip of 4awg which is kicker brand so they said i wouldnt have a problom unless i was using the full potential of the hifonics amp that would be another story, at least i was told. so on the distro block i think i will go with 4awg out for the big amp and 8awg for the small amp or should i just go 4awg on both?? I hope i made myself clear, What do you guys think?? . THNX alot
I currently have a 1amp setup in the car and will be adding another amp for the highs. I was looking at this distrabution block http://cgi.ebay.com/TSUNAMI-4-GAUGE-IN-2-POSITION-DISTRIBUTION-FUSE-BLOCK_W0QQitemZ220348640190QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Electronics_Installation?hash=item220348640190&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 , would this fit my needs and i do have 4awg power cable and will have a total of 2 amps and also heard i was better off having a fused disrabution block to be on the safer side. or which fuse distrabution block do you recommend, i will need 4awg in and 4awg out.
