I have a kicker CVR 12" sub running off a kicker zx750.1 wired at 4 ohms with the gains half way up. Electrical system is the stock in a 99 nissan altima besides the deka battery. The battery is probably a low end deka because it was just meant to be for the stock car when it was replaced. Anyway I was listening to it with the volume at 50/62 and I was getting dimming. The subwoofer volume control on the pioneer headunit was also at +6. No bass boost on the amp or HU. Is this just from my electrical system being crappy or is it because i used the +6 volume setting on the HU or something? It's not that bad and I can deal but it brings me to my next question... I am looking to get another CVR and wire them to 2 ohms. At the moment the sub is probably seeing 400 watts from the amp. If I add another it will be about 800 watts. Will the dimming get much worse if I do get a second sub?
