No, both lines have 2-ways aswell, they are two separate lines; UP5 2-way system: http://www.dls.se/english/speakers/up5.htm UR5 2-way system: http://www.dls.se/english/speakers/ur5.htm If you look at the description, it gives you a lot of the differences; So, from that you can see a lot of differences. Most obvious being the use of two different tweeter. The UR5 has selectable mid & tweeter level in the crossover, the UP5 only has selectable tweeter level. Different cone materials on the mids, different magnet systems, looking at the pics they have different baskets aswell, and looking at the spec sheet on DLS's website the mids have totally different T/S parameters....which would lead me to believe that they are totally different midwoofers aswell. The crossovers themselves look to be totally different units, and if you look the listed slopes of the crossovers are different. All of this pointing to the fact that they are just two totally different component sets in about every aspect. Different speakers used, different crossovers, different specifications. But I believe the UR line is "higher" in the hierorchy than the UP series, which would indicate that they should have atleast slightly better performance.
