Message: <blockquote data-quote="helotaxi" data-source="post: 4504883" data-attributes="member: 550915"><p>Actually the ability to play low frequencies is dependant on the ability to  move air, therefore the 12s have the advantage.  They will also be louder off the same power thnks to the increased cone area.  In high power situations they will experience less power compression because of the two motor assemblies available ot shed heat.  In SQ situations they will usually sound better becuase they require less excursion for a given output level and thus will suffer less from suspension and motor non-linearities that occur farther from the center posistion of the motor.</p></blockquote><p></p>
