After much pain and frustration, I got my subs hooked up. Since I had to do all this by myself and it was my first time dealing with hooking up a trunk battery to power a sub amp, could you please tell me if I did it right. Here is: the system: Amp for the speakers: Professionally installed using a 4 gauge wiring kit running 4x50W RMS, works perfectly. Amp for the subs, which I just did using 1/0 gauge wires: 1/0 gauge wire from the engine battery to the positive terminal of the trunk battery 1/0 gauge wire from the trunk battery to the power terminal of the sub amp 1/0 gauge wire from the negative terminal of the trunk battery to the ground terminal of the sub amp 1/0 gauge wire from the negative terminal of the trunk battery to car's frame Am I missing anything? I have to go to bed and am afraid that if I did it wrong, my car will burn up overnight. Here are some pictures. Please tell me if I did this right. If not, what did I do wrong? The sub amp is a Hifonics Brutus 2008D, rated at 1200 W RMS, running 2 DVC subs rated at 700W RMS each, wired for a 2-Ohm load.
