Just wanted to say that DeWalt power tools ****..Ive always preferred Makita over Dewalt but I decided to give the 18v XRP drill a try after my Makita crapped out after years of heavy use. Upon taking it out of the box, it didnt come with a single bit, normally i wouldnt care, but after spending $200+ on a drill it would be nice to have the bits that fit in the awkward little bit stow-away deallies..After i charged one of the batteries i fire it up and go to switch the speeds and the gear selector felt like it was assembled with chewing gum. I then decide to just use the thing before i take it back to get a project done and the second time i switch bits one of the 3 deals that comes in/out of the chuck just falls out. So i go back to the store to exchange it, and before i do i ask if i can open the thing up and see if it has the same problem. The Lowes dude and i went through 13 different drills to find theyre all defective. So, i bought a 18v Hitachi and left with some extra cash. Much better drill overall imho. Once i finish construction and move to sanding i turn on my $75 DeWalt random orbital sander to find out after about 1 minute the motor has taken a shit after 3 months. I guess i should have known anything Black and Decker makes is a total POS Im sure this was a real interesting read, but being this a is a site where the vast majority buys this kind of crap i thought it might be somewhat informative. Also didnt know that Bosch and Skil are the same company Bosch and Hitachi FTW
