Denon A100, Clarion 9255 drx drz, or Nak 700???

I need some opinions from audiophiles who have owned or heard these decks. Which one do you prefer and why? Price is not a factor i'm looking for the best SQ period. The Denon is the only one without an external dc/dc converter. Does that really matter? and how does the A100 compare to the A1 and Z1? is it really worth the extra price for the A1 or Z1?

I read in some forums that the Nak 700 is even better than the Z1 and Alpine F1?

Is this true or just BS?

I'm looking for soundstage, depth, separation, clean pure signals.

i think we need some more information. are you running active or passive? what does your system consist of? especially speakers and processing.

I'm thinking of running a set of DLS Iridium 8.3 (any better sets? Dyns Rainbows maybe?) passive with a McIntosh 431M. For lows I'm thinking of one Crystal COMP12 with a McIntosh 301M.

I won't be running EQ's or processing.

Now I just need a good deck to start the signal with.

This is my third system, so I want to get it right this time, tired of upgrading. This one has to be in my car for at least a couple of years, so anything tips or suggestions would be helpful. SQ SQ SQ SQ SQ SQ

i just graduated from sjsu. and i live on east side san jose. kinda near milpitas.

As far as speakers and HU go, what is your budget? never used it before but i wouldn't mind having a piece of denon in my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

like i said earlier, price is not a factor, but i don't want to spend more than 1 grand on a head unit, so the A1 Z1 F1 is definitely out.

You think i should go with the DRZ or Nak 700 instead of the A100? Cuz i read alot of posts that say the Nak is the king. Hard choice to make. I know the sound difference btwn these decks wont be much just depending on your preference, but still I need some opinions. you ever used the DRZ9255 or Nak 700 before?
