I recently built this little HT subwoofer set-up (pic below), and I bought a 240W Dayton plate amp from parts express to power it. Its 240W at 4ohms, and I wired two dual 2 subs (two of the ED cheapos) in series. Here is the link to the amp on PE.com: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=300-805 I don't know where to hook up the mono, single RCA from the HT receiver to the plate amp. The plate amp has a two channel input, and I think that I'm just supposed to plug the single RCA into the white plug and ignore the red, but I'm not sure. Help? If I wanted to use the high level inputs, how would I do that? Also, the amp has 4 posts to hook up subs. (2 pos's and 2 neg's). I have a single 4 ohm load. What do I do? Although that I probably won't want to use all of the capability of this set-up in order to match the tower speakers, I am still curious as to how I should set the gain for max power. Here are some pics. Of the box. The hole is for the amp. Notice that it has two distinct channels.
