Hi, so me and a friend whose installed a few subs/amps previously we installing my car amp and sub. We disconnected the battery and then ran the ground, remote and RCAs and battery wires to the amp. Then wired the amp to sub, then we reconnected the battery and the amp was on but the sub wasnt. We didnt know what was wrong we double checked all the cords and we thought the ground could be the problem - at this poitn we didnt disconnect the battery and reconnected the ground wire to a better spot and then tried again and no luck. So we decided to leave it for the day and try another time - heres the problem when i was driving home it was getting dark i turned on my head lights and my dash/odometer lights werent working! When i had lowbeam on there was no signal showing it was on only when i turned my lights on highbeam did a signal show that they were on; the odometer and lights that backlight the knobs around the AC etc were not working, my blinkers/indicators all work.. So i thought it could be a fuse problem i checked all fuses none are blown.. What went wrong? Can anybody provide some insight? much appreciated, thanks
