Going to pull out the console and make sure the bulb is not loose, and replace it again if necessary, but im pretty sure i turned it in securely when it was replaced. Any ideas on why I would have had this 2nd incident in less than 2 weeks with these console backlight bulbs? Thanks!
I have a 2003 Civic EX. While installing a 880 PRS, I noticed that 2 of the 4 backlights behind the dash that light the heating (left side) and re-circulation/ac buttons (bottom side) were no longer working. The good news is that these can be replaced similar to fuses, as they can be turned out and replaced. Ordered some replacements, and a couple backups, and replaced the bulbs. Everything worked well for about a week. The other night however, when I turned my lights on, I noticed that the new bulb that had been replaced that back-lights the circulation and ac buttons was once again not working. The other bulb on the heating controls that was replaced is still working as it should. Going to pull out the console and make sure the bulb is not loose, and replace it again if necessary, but im pretty sure i turned it in securely when it was replaced. Any ideas on why I would have had this 2nd incident in less than 2 weeks with these console backlight bulbs? Thanks!
