Oh? Then why is it the right-wingers that are so vehemently against it, yet constantly get caught doing it? How many PREACHERS and PRIESTS are fighting the "good fight" against homosexuality, yet it turns out they are gay, and having affairs, molesting kids of the same ***, etc? A very small portion of a BIG list: Prominent evangelical pastors

Ted Haggard: A former megachurch pastor and president of the National Association of Evangelicals, Haggard's career ended in 2006 when a male escort alleged that Haggard had paid him for *** and provided him with drugs. After initially denying having *** with the man, Haggard later admitted to "****** immorality". He was later accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a male churchgoer and left the ministry.
Paul Barnes: In 2007, the Colorado pastor of Grace Chapel resigned after admitting to church elders that he had "struggled with homosexuality since he was five years old." The confession came after an associate pastor received an anonymous tip threatening to reveal Barnes and other evangelical leaders who were allegedly involved in homosexual behavior.
John Paulk: A former leader in the "ex-gay" movement and author of an autobiography about being delivered from homosexuality, Paulk was photographed leaving a gay bar in Washington, D.C., in 2000. Though he later confessed to being at the bar, he denied being there for ****** purposes.
Megachurch pastors

Bishop Eddie Long: The well-known pastor of a large Atlanta-area megachurch was accused of ****** misconduct in 2010. Four young men from his congregation filed lawsuits alleging that he used his spiritual authority and gifts to coerce them into ****** relationships. Bishop Long denied the allegations but settled out of court in 2011.
Paul Crouch: The co-founder of the Trinity Broadcasting Network was accused of homosexual activity in the 1990s by a former employee, who claimed the two had a ****** encounter. Though the employee received a cash settlement, Crouch denied the allegations.
Other notable cases

Cardinal Theodore McCarrick: A former prominent figure in the Catholic Church, McCarrick was defrocked in 2018 for sexually abusing minors and seminarians. The scandal ignited a new debate about the presence of gay men in the priesthood, though research has not shown a link between ****** orientation and abuse.
Lonnie Latham: In 2006, the pastor of a prominent Oklahoma Southern Baptist church was arrested after allegedly inviting an undercover male police officer to his hotel room for ***. He was later found not guilty of the misdemeanor charge at trial.
Kenneth G.
