It's also not the employer's responsibility to investigate every Social Security or Driver's License number. A lot of illegals also pay taxes just like everybody else. What they don't do is file a tax return. That means they don't get a refund and all of that tax money stays in the economy. Our company had over 150 employees and I've seen a lot of shi* in my day. I can probably answer some questions from the employer side if you guys have any. A lot of employers hire illegals unknowingly because their paperwork comes back clean. It happens.
