An impeachment has NOTHING to do with the "way I think". It is a formal process allowed under our Constitution, and does not happen just by the "way people think" or by people's opinions, beliefs or feelings. So in the spirit of your regular demands for "conversation" (which really means debate, discussion, argument), I am asking you to reconcile various thoughts you have expressed on this forum. Thoughts which wholly contradict each other: 1. The insurrection was a nothing-burger that couldn't have affected gov't vs. the Democrats can stop an impeachment by simply interrupting the Republicans talking. 2. That people should not simply believe what they are told to believe vs. your belief that Biden should be impeached when Republicans have said they do not have any evidence to do so. 3. That the Republicans should not be "rushed" to provide the evidence for an impeachment vs. it being acceptable that they started talking of impeachment the moment they took control of the house. It seems like the rules you expect to see applied to a situation change at the drop of a hat, based on what narrative you are hoping to promulgate. So someone saying outright that people should fight like hell to prevent an election a few hours away doesn't mean to fight like hell to stop an election, but when a Republican simply says they BELIEVE Biden committed a high crime, it must be true and you accept it? The literal words from Trumps mouth mean nothing, but impeach simply based on a BELIEF? How does that make any sense to you at all? You have already stated outright that he committed crimes, and that he should be held accountable. There is no evidence the Republican party can provide of this, and the party has said as much. Can you share what evidence you have based your statement on? I know that they said they do not have any evidence. That paints them into a corner. If they don't have evidence after 15 months of crying "impeach!" and want to proceed with impeachment, that makes them look like idiots. If they have evidence but are withholding it and costing millions in taxpayer dollars while they filibuster (using a loose interpretation of the word), then they look like idiots. So, which version of idiot are they being? That doesn't speak to your concerns. You complain the Republicans are being "rushed" to provide proof and to impeach, even though they have admitted they have no evidence. Where is your complaint of "rushing" the process when the Republicans jumped to impeach the moment they got control of the house, but had no evidence to do so? To speak briefly to your tangent, what was "invented" about Trump to "bring him down"?
