, post: 6723651, member: 619037"] Any downside to mounting the crossovers away from the speakers? I'm thinking of mounting them right on the same rack as my amp. I figure the upsides: - I'll be wired for active if I go that way in the future - Easy access to the crossovers - Less mounting hassles (not have to pack them in the doors) Hahaha, they also look pretty slick I noticed the tweeters have small "pigtails" on them - should I wire to these, or remove them and connect directly to the terminals? I'm assuming the former with some good crimp down connectors. I've got a big box of Knukonceptz Karma SS speaker wire (so plenty) and the speakers in question are the new Hertz 165.4 (6.5" components). Thanks!
