Message: <blockquote data-quote="shaunls1" data-source="post: 4834693" data-attributes="member: 584783">well the gains on my amp are only about half way maybe just a hair more.i think the woofer got wet and thats what caused it to blow. the car is a camaro so its not sealed up that great but i deadened the door good and i have those foam speaker baffles that i put in after i found that my mid was wet and there is a hole about the size of a quarter in the back of the baffle for venting i just put some of those to prevent them from geting wet.my amp is rated at 75wx4(memphis belle 1300)and i think they put out a little more that that so i think the power is about perfect for the quarts so i dont think i over powered them.</blockquote>
