hey guys my mids blew up and i need some help. i posted a thread about a week ago about geting some mid bass from my comp set and after takeing your advise i find that my mids are toast. the comp set is a mb quart pvf 216 6.5 componet set with mb quarts big wide sphere tweets. my tweets are mounted flush in the pillar by the front windsheld in my camaro so if i just get a new comp set i would have to buy new pillars then cun em up for the new tweets so i really dont want to do that. the componet set is only about 8 monts old(got them right before xmas) and it sucks to have this happen. i got them from sonicelectronix so i dont know if i even have a warranty on them so im thinking about just geting a seperate set of mids and just swap them out and leave the rest of my quart set alone. can that be done? the quarts never really had good mid bass and when i turn them up i can hear distortion and the right side mid pops. i found these on woffersetc so how would some thing like this be? http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6220 if not what should i go with if its even possible to use a different mid with the quart x-overs.
