Suprisingly the amps do not really get that hot because they have a half inch above them and all the sides are wide open and the false floor has a small gap around it so it gets somewhat fresh air but I would feel better with the fans. I know that everyone hates the fishman grills but they leave large room for excursion and completely protect the sub when I have junk in the trunk since this is my work car. I also go a new EQ Magicman so watch out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
