Message: <blockquote data-quote="noob with an RS" data-source="post: 1850411" data-attributes="member: 558925"><p>LOL i feel sorry for anyone with those specs and still trying to play cs.. when i had a celeron 733 hz overclocked to a gig and 512 MB of RAM and a fx 5200 i would only get 40 fps constantly.. but playing cs with 40 fps average isnt even worth it IMO ..  i could own sometimes but the graphics weren't very smooth and i could expect for it to spike often.. those spikes will get you killed in middle of gunfight.. all it takes is a quarter-second lag and your enemy could've headshotted you during that one-quarter of a second.. i upgraded to athlon 64 processor and a gig of RAM with the same video card and i got 100 frames constatly.. and 100 is the max you can get in cs 1.6 .. ownage became more consistent since it never spiked and it looked so much smoother i felt more into the game..</p></blockquote><p></p>
