Alright, some of you may have seen my thread a couple of days ago about my new system. I have a 97 s-10 reg. cab pickup. I have a sealed box with a 10" Kicker comp. cvr. at 2ohm. My friend is letting me borrow his Pioneer GM-X862 amp. I was pretty happy w/ it at first but now i want an amp to get the sub to its full potential. I was looking around at circuit city today trying to find a better match for the sub and talking to the guy. He recommended the Kicker KX 350.2. Does this sound right? The reconmended peak rms for the sub is 300 i believe. Also, i had the pioneer amp and kicker sub installed at the local shop for $60 because i dont know what im doing. But if i were to get the amp they want another $60 just to take out the pioneer and hook up the kicker amp. I really want to get around this. How hard is it to hook it up? All the wires are already run. I am just worried having all the right settings or is that easy? I was looking online and would the kicker kx 400.1 be better than the kx 350.2 for the 2ohm sub? thanks for your replies..
