So, here's the deal. I have an Extended Cab 06' Chevy Colorado. It's a decent little truck. It got broke into a while back and entire system stolen, Ipod, sub, amp, the works. My coffee mug. all of it. A friend at work had some old speakers that he didn't need anymore as he no longer wanted the bass and all that now he has kids and all. So he GAVE me his speakers, some here might remember my thread about this. He gave me his JL 12w6's (2 of em) and some MB Quarts 6's. Anyways, so I have a Polk Audio (I know, I know, it was on sale and I was poor at time) PA600.1 600w RMS Monoblock Amp, pushing a single JL Audio 12w6 right now, it's the V1.. the V2's have a higher Watt rating. So, I'm pretty sure that the 600.1 Monoblock is enough to push one of em, but not both of these subs, so I'm wondering what you guys would recommend for me to push these 2 JL 12w6's. Also, It's an ext cab, and it has a divider between both seats, so I'd have to remove that and have metal sitting out, or I'd have to put both 12w6's in there own single boxes on each side. I'm not sure I like that idea, so I'm wondering. Should I just add the second sub, and get a new amp and have 2 separate boxes, or should I sell both of them, and get 1 better sub. and maybe even sell the amp to handle a higher powered sub as well? What do all the pro's here think? Thanks!
