I have been wondering about something for a while and I finally decided to ask. My priorities are SQ: 1st , SPL: 1 ¼ This is what has puzzled me. I have asked before what would yield better SQ and I have been told that a sealed would give me better SQ but a properly tuned ported would be just as good. What I do not understand is on a ported box, if you used it for SQ and just for example tuned it to 50 Hz, how would it give you good Sq above or below the tuned frequency? It seems to me that a sealed would be better for SQ because it would give you better response over a wider range. I this accurate or am I on crack? If I am wrong about this, please explain why. Thanks!! Rattlebrain
