hey guys i got a simple question i think: I set my gain usin a DMM and 50hz test tone with bass boosts off, eq flat, loudness off, SLA at 4 (because i realized it made my music louder at lower volumes (becasue when this was at 0 i couldnt hear my music that great...just the bass) and my volume at 46 out of 62 (75%). Now the problem is, today i turned my volume way up for the first time (around 42 or so) with all my settings the way they were when i set the gain. The music coming out of my stock (alothough they are nice for stock) speakers was too loud for me...it hurt my ears. my bass was pretty much perfect tho. however, when i turn the volume down to around 30-35 or so (which is a good sound level for the music coming out of my speakers(doesnt hurt my ears yet still kinda loud) my bass isnt loud enough. I want my music to be as loud as it is around 35 volume, but my bass to be as loud as it is if i were to turn up the volume to 46. Understand? So what should i do in order to get music that doesnt hurt my ears yet has loud bass? Should i reset my gain with my SLA at 0? Maybe this is why my music gets too loud? I found that when i play the same song i was listening too (lil jon - da blow...hits so hard) at around 25-30 volume with my superbass eq on instead of flat, i reach my desired bass/music levels. but i didnt set my gain with this eq on, so im not sure if its a good idea. Im guessing you guys probably know what i should do. Thanks alot
