I've never even heard of an aftermarket head unit that only puts out 1 set. usually they will have 2 sets one for front one for rear, and you can use the rear for the subwoofer if it's interchangable. But if you want to keep your head unit, buy a line out converter or hi/low converter (same thing). Basically its a little box that has two female rcas coming out of it and 4 wires. the 4 wires are for the left positive and neg speaker wires and the right pos and neg speaker wires. use both the positives from the left and right (grey and white) speaker wires coming out of the line out converter and tap into the positive speaker wire from one of your rear speakers and do the same for the negatives. With this you can now get another amp for your sub and hook your rca's directly into that line out converter. PM me if you have any other questions.
