Message: <blockquote data-quote="rammie" data-source="post: 2481162" data-attributes="member: 571070"><p>I have XP home edition on a Acer laptop.  The last few days it hasnt been starting up right, it goes to user log on (the screen with your name and picture icon) but then it pretty much freezes, the pointer/cursor cant be moved more than a few times before it totally stops.  Like the computer has slowed down to a standstill.  It works fine in safe mode, thats the only way to get anywhere on this (im using it right now).  I did a full system recovery but its still happening.  I need some help on how to get this going again, as far as I know nothing specific happened to cause this???</p></blockquote><p></p>
