One of my friends is a clutz and has probably dropped his asus like 6 times (i think only on carpet but still) and it runs fine and doesn't even have any visible damage, worst thing about drops is potential hard drive damage though.(Although a lot of newer laptop HD's park the heads mid-air in a drop to avoid more damage if it detects free-fall conditions)</blockquote>
