So I am closer and closer to finally installing this system... Already meeting with CSCStang this weekend to measure out a box for my trailblazer.. So heres another question for anyone willing to help a young audiophile out!! I have seen computer fans used under or above amp shelves to help cool them off but i have something else in mind. The trailblazer has a tool compartment underneath in the back and i want to hide both amps in that spot (Alpine PDX-M12 and Pioneer GM-D9500F).. The idea i have drawn up is to install 4 fans, two will be pulling cool air in and two will be pulling hot air out? either way you look at it, circulation and keeping my amps cool in this closed space is the point!! Can anyone give me any advice or pointers on this? P.s. This is not my picture, not my amps, not my trunk... But my trailblazers trunk is identical How many fans would you use? Which way would you face them? taking cool air in or pulling hot air out? Where would you install them? corners or opposite ends?
