Inifinity-No, will not even waste my time discussing these. CDT-I have used the HD to ES series. ES series no bottom end, good midrange vocals, tweeters have decent detail and do well off-axis but can be a little on the bright side but tameable. HD series much of the same except the M6 mid which is a good midbass driver but sucks in the midrange area. Much of their stuff is overpriced. The old stuff was rebaged vifa drivers which are a very decent driver, this is what gave them good midrange response, vifa's kinda trademark if you will. Not sure what they use now. Hertz-HSK 165-have installed currently. Mid has an extremely wide band width bottom end is good, midrange very good with a good usable top end out to around 6k. Tweeter smooth, detailed and good off-axis. Some do not like that this set does not have a fuller bottom end, I agree the bottom end is not as powerful as some but they will play done to 63hz @ 18db without a problem. Pioneer 720PRS-used in the past. Midbass bottom end good, midrange is good little break-up above 3k. The tweeter can be bright almost harsh at times, good off-axis. Many do not like the tweeter with this set. My pic was the Hertz for what I prefer or the sound I like. Others to consider Focal, Image Dynamics and the Alpine SPX pro's.IMO I have heard the ID's and Focal but never owned them. On the Alpine going by reviews only.
