There is about an inch of space between the surface of the stock speaker and the inside of the stock grille.Luckily, the grilles are separate pieces and I think with a little work I could modify them if necessary.One thing I&#039;m curious about is the amount of space I should leave for the woofer on an RSD to move. I know it won&#039;t move as much as a sub, but how much would you say is safe when I&#039;m dealing with such tight quarters? I&#039;m thinking I might have about a half inch from the driver to the grille.</blockquote>
