And I can tell you that the only time they could of be considered harsh is when you have the crossover set at 0db and the volume cranked high.Set it to -3db and you can get a bit more volume before your ears bleed. Really though, they arent that bad and you get used to it. Its not harsh at all at reasonable to somewhat high levels. It can get fatiguing though if you play it loud with something like techno for long periods.</blockquote>
