I also get flashing on my bass knob on transients or quick bass notes that aren't necessarily loud, but on hard long bass notes at the same knob setting, I don't have any clipping indication. Is the lack of alternator my problem or is this typical? any help is appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
Wondering if I can get a little input on this. My car is a 03 corolla with a Kinetic HC1400 under the hood and big 3 in 1/0. I clamped my M1C and was getting a reading of 33v and 14amps. Voltage at the amp was dipping as low at 11.8v. Im running a single DD 3515 dual 2ohm sub wired down to 1ohm. I was taken a little off guard by only getting in the general area of 450 watts at 2.5 ohms with rise. I am currently looking into getting a 170amp alternator for the car (stock is 70 or 80). Is the fact that there isn't enough amperage to supply the M1C the reason for the low output? I also get flashing on my bass knob on transients or quick bass notes that aren't necessarily loud, but on hard long bass notes at the same knob setting, I don't have any clipping indication. Is the lack of alternator my problem or is this typical? any help is appreciated
