My mother just passed away Sunday night from cancer (Funeral was yesterday....tough times ), but she never smoked a day in her life. She was only 49 yrs old (I'm only 22). Her cancer was related to that mesophilyoma(sp?), they said it's a rare cancer and the type of cancer you get from being around aespestis(sp?) your hole life....but she never was around it :shrugs: She was diagnosed in February of this year, passed away Nov. 7th....that's how quickly it spread, and the doctor hit her with every kind of chemo that exists, and none of them stopped (and barely slowed) the growth of the cancer. On the other hand, my grandfather (my dad's dad) smoked for 30+ yrs and has no signs of cancer. Morel of the story: You never know what is going to get you and when.....so why waste time thinking and worrying about it? Plus, that last I heard, they have not actually determined that smoking causes cancer, just that there is a high correlation (example; red sports cars and insurance. The cars themselves don't go faster than a black sports car, but people in red sports cars tend to drive faster. Correlation, not determination). Course, they could have found new info since then that actually links cancer and cigs as determination and not just correlation
