yea my wife said that it doenst pull her hair when she uses it like most do and they get super super hot

What's so bad about buying a hair straightener that "fell off the truck"? It's not like there's a chip inside of it that would send its signal back to Chi's headquarter for them to call the police to come arrest you because you bought a hot straightener from them.
