It is just as slow etc, same amount of interior room etc.... I also had the same year civic, but that seems to be out of the question for you. It was a basic car, meaning it had power windows, locks, and cruise. It is really easy to run wires / headunit. The front plastic dash pulls off with little effort. Mine had a single din and it was a real quick swap. It has 6 1/2s all the way around. The rear seats fold down 60/40 into the trunk. The back deck rattles like hell, but after removing the top (easily) i put egg crate foam under it. After that it was dead quiet. The only issues that i had with the car is that the rear bumper sagged in the rear corners. I have noticed that it is a common thing though for these cars. After a few years with some high powered subs, the rear lock stopped working. The car ran nice, never burned oil, and always started right up. The doors on the 2dr are long and the drivers side door developed a sag after time. I ever so often would have to take a hammer and a block of wood to the hinge and knock it back to fix that issue. Other then that, i am confident that this car can out last any Cavy w/ proper care. Here are some pictures of the car. I hope that helps http://www.carstereo.com/forum/profile.cfm?userid=19117
