Peel N' Seal works very well. I've done several installs with it and it works great. No smell. Easy to work with. We were carefull to clean the surface well (Simple green then alcohol) and heat the PNS and it sticks great. We even had to peel a section off to get at the speaker mount (unreleated to the PNS), and we were able to reapply the the PNS just by heating it again. Even the butyl based deadeners are actually a combination of asphalt and butyl. I think the only ones that have no asphalt are the liquid deadeners. The top end brands like SS and Rammat are great and worth the money for a nice car. But if your doing a budget system in a cheap car, then PNS will work fine. A freind of mine bought a Dynamat door kit for $90 and there wans't enough material to do a single layer on the inside panel. Nothing for the outside or sealing the sides. With 4 rolls of PNS we did a much better job of completly sealing the outer/inner panels sides and all holes with multiple layers. Dead, for a fraction of the price.
