I can see a few differences by looking at the pictures. The top plate looks alot thicker than the HD3c, plus the basket isn't exactly the same. If you add those to a few more that Sundownz mentioned, like the spider spacers, and glue joint problems (HD3c spiders are bolted and glued), it's safe to say it's not as similar as is appears at a glance. It does LOOK pretty similar though. It's probably not too bad of a woofer for the money.</p></blockquote><p></p>
