Well I had a Sony CDX-M610 and over the course of a year or so it turned into POS I sold for 60 bux - because I wouldn't feel right selling it for over that. The thing would skip so often and randomly for no reason even for a perfectly fine CD. You can imagine how well it performed on the road. An old b1tchy woman is how I can best compare :-P For a head unit that retails for that much (at least around the time I got it), it shouldn't turn shitty so fast. That is where the comparison is. A while ago I bought a kenwood cdplayer. The quality is waayyyy better as far as longevity goes. I bought that like 5 or 6 years ago, paid 150 or so for it, and it still is more reliable than that 300 dollar sony POS that was manufactured years after. In the mean time I'm hoping to get my panasonic HU in the mail tommorow! yay!!
