I HAD my crappy kenwood deck driving crappy Delco speakers in all 4 corners. I Changed to the crappy kenwood deck talking to a crappy lanzar amp drivng crappy delco speakers (baby steps, gimme a break - the wiring was nice at least.) The problem I have is obviously my crappy delco speakers sound like *** with some power, my crappy deck only has one set of outs, so I can't fade front/back anymore. I only have room for like 5.25's up front, so I was hoping to put 6.5's on the rear shelf (hoping to order some SSCS6's today if I can find somewhere that can get them fast.) in some custom pods. I'm wondering if I should ditch the fronts entirely (tweeters are in the dash, I'd keep those), and just run the 6.5's on two bridged channels each (200 watts peak, still on the crappy amp - that gets upgraded later as it works fine now). Or if I should try to run 5.25's (I'll have to buy some at some point, mine are 8ohm, so play awfully quiet at the same volume as the 4ohm rears) up front, tweeters up front, and 6.5's on the shelf. Thoughts? Comments? Flames?
