What I was saying is that no $200 woofer (typically 400-1000w rated subs) is going to take a fully calibrated 2500w amp daily. Not a clamped 2500w, but a true 2500w amp that is fully gained as high as possible w/out clipping. You would be getting anywhere from 1000-3000w on music and the voice coil(s) would heat up. The sub would die. </p><p></p><p>I know you weren&#39;t calling me out, I was quite vague. Also, you&#39;re splitting your current subs across 2 separate motors and voice coils, I was merely speaking to 1 sub. I could probably put 10k on $200 worth of subs and them run fine.
