Any thoughts on how to better round out my sound... Thanks.

[QUOTE="dieselwelder, post: 7686782, member: 639699"] Alright..... I built a sealed box after much debate for my two Sundown SA 12s. Each sub received one cubic ft of airspace .... Yes I added in the space the speaker takes up.... Anyway , I powered them with a RF T1000bd @ 1 ohm. So my problem seem to be that they don't really had the kick I was hoping for... The deep bass is there and sounds very good but the kick of a kick drum just isn't there like I was hoping..... It seems like the box is tuned to low maybe... I was wondering if a ported box would give me more of what I'm looking for...Or maybe I should consider adding some good mid bass speakers.. I listen mainly to heavy rock, classic rock,country,blues...ect.. Basically music made by real instruments and not a computer. It's not that this box sounds bad....there is just a big hole from like 250hertz down to like 60hertz.......I have decent mids and highs..they are Boston Acoustics Pro series with a 6 inch mid and a nice tweeter..... They get powered by a Alpine MRF 540 which is a 150 x 4 rms @4ohms .. I'm only using channels 1 and 2 right now till I can get more highs, mids,or mid bass speakers....
