I'm looking at sounddomain.com for a prebuilt sealed enclosure for my CDT MS-100 10" subwoofer. According to the manual that comes with the sub, the enclosure should range from .45 to .91 cubic feet. I have a US Acoustics 80Wx2 channel amplifier which I intend on bridging. Question is which enclosure should i get? R/T sells two, a small and a medium one for 10" sub.. The small claims to be .66 cubic feet http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/RTE31510 The medium claims .75 cubic feet http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/RTE31610 In what way will the sound different? I've heard the size you go with depends on what kind of amp is driving the sub.. so i'm not sure in my case which one is more appropriate. also whats the difference between MDF and non MDF? Are the MDF's worth a few bucks more? Q-Logic also makes a small sealed enclosure, though people seem to gripe about it's plastic ring sealing. Appreciate the feedback.
