I plan on upgrading the entire system in the next car I buy (probably a Volkswagon Jetta deisel) and i'm trying to save money where I can. I was wondering if I buy an Alpine CDA-9887 will I have to install an active crossover if I want to seperate my lows/mids/highs? I don't want to keep the passive crossover on the speakers if they come with the Boston Pro60s and whatever other speakers I plan on getting. I already have the subs and amp picked out for my lows. Thanks in advance for the help. Been scouring this forum for about a month now looking at information. I'm returning from Iraq soon (next few days I'll be home), so I don't have a car yet =) Mike
