Hi, I am an old school guy and have not yet converted to the compressed music format for listening to my music. I still love my CD's for the outstanding SQ I get from them. From what I hear, music from my Iphone will not sound near as good as from the CD's. From my perspective, the big benefit of listening to compressed music is the ability to have thousands of songs to choose from without the hassles of changing discs every hour or so. Thus, I thought maybe purchasing a CD changer could help reduce the amount of time I am manually changing CD's. This would be a big help on my 5-hour trips to Chicago I take every so often. And, I would still be able to listen to the better SQ format. I see a couple of possible drawbacks with this solution. One is the quite possible problem of mechanical breakdown of my CD changer, but I think I am willing to take that chance. The second is why I am posting this thread. I just purchased a sub and will be placing it in the trunk, which is where I want to place my CD changer (if I decide to purchase one). If they both go in the trunk of my 1991 Accord, will my changer have any issues being so close to the sub? I really don't see any where else I can place the changer. What do you guys think? Does anyone have a CD changer in the trunk alongside a sub in a trunk? Are there any other solutions that I am not thinking of? Thanks, in advance, for any input that I may receive.
