I was talking to a friend of mine who has run cat5 (internet cable) for his speakers. From what i understand he cut the connectors off obviously and i beleive he ran 2 lines for each speaker (+ & -) since the wire is so thin.. Now he told me that changing the wire he didnt notice the sound to be any louder but he said the clearness was much better bcuz of the fact that its 5 wires and its twisted. I wanted to listen to it but at the time he didnt have the amp hooked so obviously i couldnt try it out. But what im asking is.. do you think theres any truth to this or has anyone tryed it or could wire up a few speakers and try it?
