I would start small. And have something to learn on and play with while I researched. Get a good head unit, run some 0 gauge wires then get a cheap amp and subs in a pre-fab. Learn on it and not some expensive amps and speakers. It's not a good feeling when you watch smoke coming out of your pride and joy amp and you have your expensive subs froze up so tight you can stand on them and not break them free.As far as Kicker being the best... I've only seen one guy around here do good with them in competitions. Thats not a very good track record because a lot of people are running them.</blockquote>
