Hello everyone! I have decided to upgrade my car stereo on my 1994 Ford Mustang GT 5L. I have done some research but am still fairly new to this. I was thinking of doing the following... 1.) Upgrade the receiver with to a Alpine CDE-172BT CD receiver 2.) Change all four speakers on the car front door panel and rear speakers. The Size is 6x8. The option I found was the Kicker 46CSC684 CS Series 6"x8" 2-way car speakers. Any good? 3). JL Audio JD400/4 JD Series 4-channel car amplifier or the JL Audio RD400/4-channel car amplifier for the front/rear speakers. 4.) Stinger Elite 4GA 6000 Series Amplifier Wiring Kit I did end up buying a JL Audio 10W6v3-D4 subwoofer for this set up. I still need amplifier for this sub and was not sure what to get. I do have an option of buying a JL Audio HD Series HD750/1 which is used( 3yrs) and I am getting it for half of the cost. Will this amplifier be to much for this subwoofer and for my car? Any other Amplifiers I should look at? I did want to stick with everything JL audio, even with the speakers ( not sure what is good... want to stick to a reliable brand ). I am open to other options as well. I also do not a have a subwoofer box for the 10W6v3-D4. I am thinking ported? I cant find anything online that has the JL specs for this box. Unless I get it custom made. I would appreciate any feedback! Any changes I should make? Recommend a different product or anything else I need for this set up. Thanks !
